Wicklow 2-12 Laois 1-12
Wicklow were the surprise leaders in Division 2A after they shocked Damien Fox's Laois side by beating them 2-12 to 1-12 in Arklow Sunday afternoon.
Wayne O'Gorman grabbed the Garden County's two goals to see them follow up their opening weekend win over Meath.
Having thumped Derry by 20 points in their opening game, Laois - relegated from Division 1 last year - were hot favourites at Arklow.
But Wicklow were up for it and maintained their one hundred percent record in the League after their win over Meath last time out.
O'Gorman was in good form as his goal helped the men from the Garden County to a 1-8 to 0-6 point at the break.
And the same player repeated that feat after the interval, the second goal proving the differnce between the sides and ensuring that people will sit up and take notice as the men from the east coast move to the top of the table, leaving Laois very much humbled.
