Quigley stuns BrayMonday, April 2 2007St. Patrick's Athletic 3 Bray Wanderers 1 Mark Quigley stunned Bray, and everyone in Richmond Park, with an unbelievable hat-trick inside five minutes as St. Pat's cruised to another big win to stay top of the table.
Quigley shot home Gary O'Neill's backheel for the opener on four minutes before placing a shot to the corner of the net from John Frost,s left wing cross within 60 seconds. The hat-trick arrived within four more minutes when a ball over the top caught Bray square and Quigley raced through to score. Saints lost left-back John Frost, sent off for a second yellow, on 56 minutes. Substitute Alan Cawley got Bray's consolation goal 13 minutes from the end. |
