Roche Welcomes Progress on Bray Loreto SchoolThursday, August 2 2007Dick Roche TD, Minister for European Affairs has today (2nd August) welcomed the news from his colleague and Minister for Education, Mary Hanafin TD, that tenders for the new PE Hall at the school have been accepted and approved.
"This is very good news for the school. It will allow them finalise matters with the successful contractor who can make arrangements to get on site as soon as possible. The development of a new PE Hall at Loreto Secondary School, Bray will add to sporting facilities on the campus at present. This issue has been a very important one for the parents of the hundreds of students that attend the school and many of them have contacted me about this much needed facility" said Minister Roche. "This is a further commitment of Fianna Fail in Government to providing top class facilities for all activities in our schools. I look forward to seeing the building progress over the coming months and to a new Hall being in place very shortly" concluded the Minister. |
