McManus Pressing for Extension of Luas to Bray

Deputy Liz McManus T.D. is continuing to press the Minister of Transport and the Rail Procurement Agency to ensure that the Luas Extension is brought into Bray.

"The plans to extend the Luas line to Old Fassaroe development lands are insufficient to meet the needs of the people of Bray.

It is of course, vital that there is a line to Old Fassaroe with a Park and Ride facility off the N11 to meet the needs of people from Co. Wicklow.

However, it is vital that the Luas is also directed into the centre of Bray to link up with the DART line so that both Bray Town and the hinterland of Co. Wicklow is well served. I'm continuing to make the case to the Minister and to the Rail Procurement Agency to ensure the Town of Bray does not lose out on the Luas Extension".
