7,000 Ecstasy Tablets Seized in Enniskerry     (Friday, December 14 2007)
Gardai have seized 7,000 ecstasy tablets, worth €70,000. The seizure was made by the local drug unit during a search of a house at Kilgarron Park in Enniskerry in the early hours of the morning.

Drug Link to Bray Death Investigated     (Tuesday, December 11 2007)
It is suspected that the death of a 24-year-old man, who died suddenly in Co Wicklow in the past 48 hours, may have been cocaine related. Paul Byrne lived with his parents and was the father of a nine-month-old baby girl.

Green Party Senator, Deirdre de Burca has welcomed the first budget in the State's history to contain a strong 'green' dimension. Senator de Burca said it placed a strong emphasis on the fight against climate change and that there were new measures to start curbing carbon emissions through innovative changes to vehicle registration tax and motor tax.

Gardaí Call for Help in Finding Missing Bray Man     (Saturday, August 11 2007)
Gardaí in Bray have asked for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 64-year-old Sean O' Toole from Dargan Street, Bray, Co Wicklow. Mr O'Toole has not been seen since 5pm on 2 August 2007 and gardaí and Mr O Toole's family are concerned for his well being.
