Funding For Wicklow Youth Development SchemesThursday, April 12 2007Dick Roche, T.D., Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, has welcomed the news that the Government has approved the allocation of almost €45,000 from the Dormant Accounts Fund to groups in the Wicklow area.
Bray Partnership is to receive €30,000 to enhance Youth Leadership Programmes, Numeracy/Literacy Support, Mentoring Support, Life Skills and Social and Personal Education. "The young are the future of Ireland and I heartily welcome any support which enhances their lives and prepares them for the road ahead, said the Minister. Meanwhile, Arklow Community Enterprise Limited is to receive €15,000 to engage young people in a cycle of positive recreation and personal development training. |
