Thursday, June 7 2007

A 6km extension to the Luas was unveiled yesterday, but without any cost estimates or how long it will take to complete.

Transport Minister Martin Cullen announced the preferred route for the extension to the Luas Green Line, which will go from Cherrywood to Bray.

The proposed track will continue on from the upcoming 7.5km green line extension which will run from Sandyford to Cherrywood in south Dublin.

However, Mr Cullen said he did not know how much the Bray extension would cost the Exchequer.
