The Valley Project
The valley in question is the Vale of Avoca and most of the musicians are from that area. Ian Byrne, Fran Harper, Naoimh Penston, Shea Fitzgerald and Todd Wiseman have got together to create a compendium of both originals and classics. Magic.

John Breen
Arklow born Wicklow resident singer/songwriter John Breen recently signed to Alternative-Urban records/Atlanta Music Group in the USA and recorded his debut CD at AMG's studio in Atlanta early 2004 under the direction of renowned producer Steven Hawkins. His site has plenty of information and you can listen to tracks of his great music.

Avoca
`Autumn Falling' is the latest CD from Sean Olohan, a Co. Wicklow man who has played an integral role in the music scene in the county for many years with his groups, `The Cantons' and `Avoca'. He has also been a great ambassador for the `Garden County' through his musical trips across Europe and the United States.

Boru
Arklow based `Boru' were among the top ballad and folk groups in Ireland throughout the 1980's and enjoyed many appearances on the `big stages' of Ireland and other countries along with numerous television appearances.

Setanta
Setanta is a two piece traditional group that graces many a Co. Wicklow stage with its huge variety of ballads and instrumental music, much of which is original. Johnny Stafford and John Nolan are the two members of the group and both have major experience in the music field.

Super A.D.
`Headstrong' may be the first single by Super A.D. but this Kilmac group, comprising mainly of two talented brothers, is already well familiar with the recording industry having been part of many compilations, remixing classics for people like Donovan, Naimee Coleman, Ronan Hardiman, getting their music played on SKY television and performing live themselves.

From winning the National Brass Band Championships three times in a row to doing a backing track on U2’s Joshua Tree Album, the famous Arklow Silver Band just keep going and going.
