Music from WicklowToday.com is available in two formats:
The Real Audio Format is a 'streaming' format, i.e. it allows you to listen to the track while it is being downloaded to your computer. It plays almost immediately. In order to listen to Real Audio you need a program called Real Player, which is available for free download here.
Alternatively you can listen to the tracks in MP3 format. For older systems this will not play until it is fully downloaded, which can take 5-10 minutes. However newer systems may begin to play the file while it is being downloaded. MP3 is the most commonly-used music format on the Internet and will play in Windows Media Player or in most other media players, so you probably don't need any new software.
If you want to save the MP3 file to your hard drive to listen to it whenever you want just right-click on the link and choose 'Save Target As...'.
