Ashford & Glenealy Parish This is a new site, recently launched, for the parish of Ashford and Glenealy. It is quite comprehensive too. Containing mass times, baptism and confession info and a history of the parish itself. Arklow Parish Council This is a comprehensive website about the ongoing work of the recently formed Arklow Parish council. It also contains mass times, parish news, school information, and more. Bray Spiritual Groups This page of the Holy Redeemer Parish website gives a listing of spiritual-related groups in the parish - 11 of them, no less. Church of St.Mary and St.Michael, Rathdrum Hosted by Wicklow.ie, this is a full site of information and details about Rathdrum parish. The site has sections on the parish history and clergy, mass times, other local churches and you can even read the parish newsletters. Missionary Sisters of St. Columban This is the website of the Columban Sisters, a worldwide congregation of missionary religious women whose Motherhouse is in Magheramore, just South of Wicklow town. Their site has plenty of information about the order and their work around the world. Holy Redeemer Parish (Bray) Page A comprehensive site that includes parish history, mass times, information on the parish clergy, the parish vision, a comment page, the parish newsletter and much more. St. Peter's Parish, Little Bray A simple website from this Bray parish with plenty of information about the parish and its activities. You can also download the newsletters. Rathnew Parish Very minimal site on Rathnew parish and the church there. Includes an email address for the PP. Templerainy Church Page for Tempelrainy Church in Arklow. The United Dioceses Of Dublin And Glendalough This page has information about churches, clergy and other services in the Church of Ireland dioceses of Dublin And Glendalough. Wicklow Parish Hosted by Wicklow.com this site includes plenty of information on Wicklow Parish. Mass times, contact information, a 'virtual tour', link and even a Year 2000 Prayer that you can download. (Back to Top) Wicklow Education Database Part of the National Education Database from Nightcourses.com, this site has details of evening classes, adult education and further learning in Wicklow and in Ireland. You can search by course, by area, by college and by course type. Abbey Community College Wicklow Town's Abbey Community College is a BIG site and has a LOT of information. Here you will find details of courses, a school history, photograph gallery and much much more Arklow Community College An excellent and brand new website from Arklow Community College. They've got news, photos, full school information, dicussion forums, and much, much more. It's a well designed site too!. Avondale Community College This is the website of Rathdrum's Avondale Community College. It's a fairly extensive one with a madcap design and has all sorts of information about the school, from the school's history to a notice board and even information about the canteen. East Glendalough School This Wicklow town school's site has a noticeboard, 'quick facts', a student's page, a past pupil page and other information. Gaelscoil Chill Mhantáin An excellent school site from Wicklow's Gaelscoil. Gaelscoil Chill Mhantáin is the first Department of Education funded primary school in Ireland to have a joint Catholic/Protestant ethos. Their website has tons of information and even includes a discussion forum. St. Brendan's College, Woodbrook, Bray This site has all sorts of stuff on the school - the mission statement, lots of transition year information, a photo gallery and even music. St. Cronan's School Bray This is an excellent site compiled by the lads at St. Cronan's. There's too much to mention - you have to go there. My favourite page is the long list of elephant jokes. St. David's Secondary School This looks like a comprehensive site for this Greystones school, but unfortunately the graphics weren't working when I was there. St. Gerard's School This Bray school has an excellent website with sections on the curriculum, school activities and events, past pupils, sports and their Montessori/Junior School. A bit out of date though. St. Mary's College, Arklow Information and news about St. Mary's College, Arklow. St. Patrick's Loreto Primary School, Bray One page of basic information on the school. It includes a history of the school, the school policy and some other grown-up things, but nothing from the kids. Wicklow Schools on the Net This is a list of schools in the county that have a web presence. There are only three schools on the list at the moment but this directory should grow as time goes by (Back to Top) Wicklow Traveller's Group Wicklow Travellers' Group is an organisation of Travellers and settled people working together to create a society in which all are different, equal, confident and valued. Their website has plenty of information, including photographs. Wolfe Tone & District Youth Club This is the website of Wolfe Tone & District Youth Club in Bray. Its got details of fixtures, results, pictures and more. 5th Wicklow (Bray) Sea Scout Group One page with all the basic information on Bray's Sea Scouts. it also has scouting links and a guestbook. Ashford ICA A simple but effective site from Ashford's ICA. They have sections on the group and competitions and a directory of related links. You can also contact them by email. Freemasons Grand Lodge of Wicklow & Wexford Just one page with the names and meeting times of local lodges in Wicklow. Orange Lodge: Dublin and Wicklow District A full page of information on this Orange Lodge chapter, with sections on community work and latest activities. Newtownmountkennedy Area Development Action Group Anything that you want to know about Newtown? It's all here. This is a very informative site. It contains a history of the town, photographs, and an archive of Newtownmountkennedy related news stories. Wicklow ICA Federation Plenty of information about the I.C.A. Wicklow Federation, including info on news, meetings, competitions, upcoming events and more. There's also a section on upcoming events. Wicklow Rotary Club A few basic pages on Wicklow town's Rotary club - basically a few photos and a list of officers. (Back to Top) The Barretstown Gang Camp The Barretstown Gang Camp is a centre for seriously ill children - a European branch of the American 'Hole in the Wall Gang' camp founded by actor Paul Newman. Its a seriously brilliant project and their website's pretty good too. Its got sections on the camp's history and people and all the programmes offered. The Bray Cancer Support & Information Centre A great site from a great organisation. Its got a survivor's guide to breast cancer, information on cancer terms, photos, press releases and details of 'Friends up Front' - the Bray cancer support group. Glencree Centre for Reconciliation A full and comprehensive site of the Glencree Centre for Reconciliation. It includes information on the centre's programs, publications, events and 'pages for peace'. KARE KARE is a voluntary organisation providing services for people with intellectual disabilities in West Wicklow, Kildare, East Offaly, and North Carlow. They've a comprehensive website with details of their services, training, principals and much more. Sunbeam House The excellent and comprehensive site of Sunbeam House and their facilities all over Wicklow for people with learning disabilities. Wicklow IT Company The Wicklow IT company is the committee that formed to send in Wicklow town's submission for the Telecom 'Information Age Town' competition. Their site has information on the committee and on past and future projects. Wicklow Rural Partnership Ltd. WRPs site has info on LEADER grants and other services they offer. There's also a newsletter. Wicklow Maritime A website devoted to maritime activity at Wicklow port and along the County Wicklow coastline. Lots of photographs, port news, and more. (Back to Top)
