Wicklow Community Games Participants Collect Share of Glory

The recently held Community Games 2001 National Finals in Athletics, on the Weekend of 24th, 25th and 26th of August proved a good one for County Wicklow's participants. They won a grand selection of prizes ranging from silver and bronze medals to certificates in the various disciplines organised at the games.

various distances depending on the competitor's age groups. The competition between participants can best be described as eager but always friendly communicating the true spirit of the community games. Competitors and teams from Wicklow who collected prizes were.
