Rescheduled Basketball Final Will Take Place In May

The `Time-Out' All-Ireland basketball final between Avondale Community College, Rathdrum and St. Aidan's College from Coothill, Co. Cavan has been rescheduled due to the foot and mouth precautions and will now take place on May 3rd In the Basketball Arena in Dublin.

Fermoy to reach the final of this under-19 national competition. The final was due to take place this month but was cancelled due to the foot and mouth scare.
The team is training hard and is quite confident of winning the final although coach Catheriona Hanafin is cautiously optimistic, pointing out that it is difficult to know what to expect once you play outside the county.
Team members are: Eamonn Kearns, Shane McGrath, Shane Burch, Fiach O'Toole, Mark McDonald, Derek McMullen, Martin Madden, Ross Turner, Matthew Cleere, P.J. Brady and Philip Maskcu.
