Traffic was disrupted this morning after a truck overturned on the first roundabout from the N11 used by motorists from the northern end of the county intending to access the town. The accident occurred at 7-30 a.m. and there was no other vehicle involved.
Up to lunch time today, the truck was still on its side on the

roundabout, completely blocking the left hand lane. However, early morning rush hour traffic was able to proceed without any major delay. No injuries were sustained by the driver or his assistant.
However, it is expected that a greater amount of disruption will be caused later today as attempts are made to lift the truck. All the goods in the vehicle had to be first unloaded before the lifting process could get underway.
