Garda Investigation Following Baby Snatch

A man was being questioned today after a baby was snatched from a house in Tinahely yesterday. The abduction occurred in the afternoon and the alarm was raised by the mother of the little girl. It is believed to be part of a domestic dispute.
As a manhunt got underway last night, a man was captured by Gardai in the Knockananna area and the child was returned safely to her mother. The man was being questioned by gardai in Tinahely today.
While it is somewhat unclear at present as to the way in which he will be dealt with, it is understood that a file on the matter may be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
