of Cancer Research. The money was mostly raised through a fund raising concert by the Band of the Garda Siochána.
The cheque was presented at the last meeting before the summer break, which also included a talk on wine appreciation given by Darragh O’Loughlin of Ashford Food and Wine.
The Ashford ICA would like to thank all those who contributed to the success of the fund raising concert, including the members of the band, all the sponsors, the organisers and all those who supported the concert.
Meanwhile the Wicklow ICA Federation is organising a Bumper Craft Fair in the Brockagh Centre, Glendalough on Sunday July 21, 2002. All of Wicklow's ICA craft people will come together to sell the work they have done over the last few months.
