Shock Death of Council Offical

There was shock across the Garden County today at the death yesterday of County Council Overseer in West Wicklow, John Mullin, who was found dead at his home.

Aged 54, Mr. Mullin, who lived in the Glen of Imaal area, was a council overseer in West Wicklow for the past 20 years.

It was confirmed today that the late Mr. Mullin was questioned by County Council officials on Tuesday as part of the ongoing investigation into illegal dumping in West Wicklow.

He was found yesterday by his brother-in-law. Mr. Mullin is survived by a son and daughter.
