Launch of Local Lottery for County Wicklow

The national Rehab Lottery today launched its `Wicklow Daily Lotto’ local lottery that will be sold in 80 retail outlets throughout the county and will raise funds for a host of local good causes.

The lottery will raise funds for causes such as the Bray Learning Centre, the Link and Access courses in Arklow and Rehabcare at the Living Life Centre in Bray. However, it is also intended to raise funds for other local community groups at a later stage.
In order to win, players match their numbers with six drawn numbers announced on East Coast FM at 7 o’clock each evening and they will also be available on Wicklowtoday.com.
There are four prize categories – E10,000 for matching five numbers, E1,000 for four, E100 for three and E10 for two. A

ticket costs E1 for which the player receives four lines and a chance to win in each of the four prize categories.
At today’s launch in the Grand Hotel, Mr. Paul Coulter , Manager of the Bray Learning Centre said - `We are delighted to be one of the first beneficiaries of Wicklow Daily Lotto and the funds raised will be extremely valuable to us in developing our services to people with disabilities in County Wicklow’.

The Wicklow Daily Lotto was officially launched by well known international entertainer, Phil Coulter who has been a long time resident of County Wicklow.
