Up to 200 Jobs as Dell Expands Bray Operations

Dell computers will create up to 200 full-time jobs at its call centre in Bray, according to the company's head of European

Operations, Paul Bell. The move follows strong growth in revenue, particularly from its server and storage business and goes against the trend for technology companies to retrench amidst uncertain economic times.
The company has agreed with the IDA to hire 'over 100' highly skilled positions in sales and technical support, although reports suggest that the final figure will be closer to 200. Dell will also be hiring people for its manufacturing operation in Limerick.

The call centre was established in December 1992 and was one of Ireland's first call centres. It currently employs around 1,150 people.
